When the hosts asked about the infamous decision portrayed in the musical, Jay paused, careful not to reveal too much. “I don’t want to spoil it,” he said. “In the show, you could hear a pin drop during that scene. It was the lowest point we ever faced professionally, but also the moment that proved just how strong we were as a family.” Fighting back tears, he continued, “It still makes me emotional… the love, the forgiveness, and the bond between us is what kept us going.”
