The song “You Wreck Me” is originally by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, released in 1994 on their album “Wildflowers.”
George Strait did not originally write or record the song. He has, however, performed a cover of it live multiple times, and recently included a live version on the Tom Petty tribute album “Petty: The Music.”
